I plan on scheduling my REG exam on 10/27. I will start studying for REG on Monday, 9/6.
I have about 7 1/2 weeks to study using Yaeger and Gleim Software questions. My goal is to study 10-15 hours a week.
I blogged alot for FAR and it really helped me stay on schedule. So I plan on blogging my REG study progress at least once a week.

Today I watched the first Yaeger Homestudy AUD lecture and did about 5 practice questions. I was gonna do some questions in CPAexcel, but realized my trial is now over :( Oh well, it was great while it lasted. I really should have started studying for AUD 2 weeks ago and taken advantage of CPAexcel while I had it. I heard that AUD was CPAexcel’s best section (which is hard to imagine because CPAexcel was amazing for FAR and BEC, how much better can they get?).
AUD is boring. Nothing really interesting, just tricky and purposely confusing. I hope to at least finish Module 1 and begin memorizing some basic lists. Honestly, I can’t tell if I’m burned out or if studying for AUD really just sucks this much…
I still need to schedule my AUD exam. Originally, I wanted to take the exam July 1st, but will have to push it back since I’m 2 weeks behind on studying. This sucks because I wanted to take REG in late August. I’ve heard that REG is only second to FAR in terms of material it covers. After getting through FAR, I can’t even guess how long REG may take me….

My Yaeger FAR Homestudy arrived on Friday. I had ordered it on Monday (Labor Day) and was checking UPS.com tracking. It was actually out for delivery on Thursday, but it was raining here, so I guess delivery guy put my package off until Friday morning.
Anyways, now it is Sunday morning. On Friday, after answering the door and receiving my books in the morning, I fell asleep for about 8 hours and didn’t look through them. Saturday was spent sleeping till about noon and doing nothing all day. My sister was the first person to ask me when I was going to start studying, followed by a conversation with my mom over the phone asking me the same thing. I guess I’m just waiting for all the distractions of this weekend to pass and then start cracking on the books. I’m hoping to start studying on Sunday because I have a group meeting Monday night to prepare for a project due on Tuesday.
Here’s the breakdown on the Yaeger videos: 14 DVD’s consisting of 57 videos with 47 hours of total video. Most videos are about 45mins to an hour long. So I guess I could do about 2 videos a day followed by 2-3 hours of MCQs and studying.
I finally made my appointment with a doctor to see about getting my ADD diagnosed on October 5th. Here’s to hoping that appointment will be beneficial to me in the future and well worth the freaking $230 he is charging me!
