3 Things I Regret About Studying For The CPA Exam

1. I isolated myself and became a hermit.

I ignored everything that wasn’t related to accounting. I even started a crappy blog where I could rant about inane things that no one should bother reading.

2. I wasted too much time researching and demo’ing CPA Review courses.

I fell for just about every CPA exam course promotion thinking that the more I sampled, the more I would learn. I wish I just picked Roger from the beginning and probably would have finished AUD last summer.

3. After passing FAR and BEC, I felt burned out and slacked off for a year.

Studying is a pain. Living the life of a hermit in the labyrinths of libraries is quite awful. Eventually, one must step outside and forage for one cannot live off of vending machine cookies alone.

AUD Scores Received

I haven’t been worrying about my AUD scores because the CPA review course I studied with this time around actually taught me something about auditing.

I checked my scores today and found out that I finally passed AUD.

Now alls I gotta do is pass REG…
